Is it bad to say out loud that I'm glad I'm not the only one suffering the creative blahs? Wonder if the harder we try the father 'it' goes. I try to remember to just play occasionally without any real worry or plan.
I love the idea of having a skylight right about your work table. Natural light is better than any artificial light. Aside from its health benefits, it’s also energy efficient! I hope you’ll always be in the mood to work on your work table.
I also have skylights in our study room and just like this, it’s also right above our working table! Whenever I feel sleepy, exhausted or when I’m just feeling lazy, I just take a few moments to look up towards the skies, and then I’ll be back to my working mood.
Hugs Gen!
ReplyDeleteI hear you on the blah... I try to convince myself it's just my batteries recharging. Lol....
Downtime is valuable, although frustrating. I hope you're feeling the muse soon!
what a lovely work space... sometimes getting out for walks shakes me out of my 'blah' periods... nature inspires in so many ways...
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! ...looks into getting a loft conversion...
ReplyDeleteHang on in there - I get that feeling all the time! Just have to wait and it will happen. Loving your workspace and your skylight!
